In a legal move filed on November 5, 2024, Cheryl A. Bryan of St. Peters, Missouri, is seeking the dissolution of her marriage to Lloyd D. Bryan. The couple, who married on June 19, 2006, in Sevierville, Tennessee, separated on September 17, 2024.
Cheryl, who works for the Fort Zumwalt School District, has requested sole physical and legal custody of their minor child, who currently resides with her in St. Peters. In the petition, she states that the marriage is “irretrievably broken,” with no hope for reconciliation.
Cheryl’s attorney, Joe Kuhl of Shea Kohl Law, LC, is seeking an equitable division of marital property and debts. She is also asking the court to grant child support, noting that Lloyd, who is self-employed, is capable of providing financial support. Furthermore, Cheryl is requesting reimbursement for her attorney’s fees and any costs incurred during the legal proceedings.
In addition to these requests, Cheryl is seeking to maintain control of her separate property and asks the court to order Lloyd to cover the costs of the divorce, including her legal expenses. With one child involved, Cheryl asserts that awarding her sole custody is in the best interest of the child.
