Paul Seidler, 46, has filed for divorce from Alyssa Brody Seidler, also 46, in Cook County, Illinois, on October 7, 2024. In his petition, submitted through his attorneys at GMR Family Law LLP, Paul cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the breakdown of their marriage. The couple, who married on July 3, 2005, in Minnetonka, Minnesota, has two children—Sam, 13, and Julian, 10. While Paul affirms that no other legal actions regarding their marriage or children are ongoing, he requests the court to dissolve the marriage based on these irreconcilable differences.
Paul acknowledges that both he and Alyssa have entered mediation to resolve issues concerning the allocation of parental responsibilities, parenting time, support, and the division of marital assets. He asks the court to incorporate the agreements reached during mediation into their final Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage. Additionally, Paul has reserved the right to amend his petition should negotiations falter.
The petition highlights that past efforts at reconciliation were unsuccessful and further attempts would be futile. Paul has requested the court to finalize a Parenting Plan and a Marital Settlement Agreement, both of which are still under discussion.
