Seven years after their wedding vows were exchanged in St. Louis County, Edmund B. Tauk has moved to dissolve his marriage to Stephanie J. Tauk, citing an irretrievable breakdown. On March 7, 2025, he formally filed a petition for dissolution of marriage in St. Louis County Circuit Court, bringing an end to a union that began on July 28, 2017. The couple, who separated in July 2024, share one minor child.
In his filing, Edmund Tauk asserts that there is no reasonable chance of reconciliation. He requests the court to adopt an already agreed-upon Parenting Plan, which outlines joint legal and joint physical custody of their child. The petition also indicates that the parties have reached a comprehensive agreement on the division of their assets, debts, and financial responsibilities.
Represented by attorney James P. Carmody of Carmody MacDonald P.C., Edmund Tauk is asking the court to approve the couple’s Marital Settlement and Separation Agreement, which was signed by both parties. With no ongoing disputes over child custody or property, and both parties in agreement on the terms of their separation, the case appears poised for an uncontested resolution.
