Anthony E. Cilli, represented by attorney Larry S. Buccero of Buccero & VanFleet, LLC, filed for dissolution of marriage from Candess T. Crawford in Jackson County, Missouri, on September 11, 2024. The couple, married on May 29, 2018, in Lexington, Kentucky, separated in January 2020. Cilli claims their marriage is irretrievably broken, citing no reasonable chance of reconciliation. They have one child, a five-year-old boy, who has lived continuously in Missouri since birth, primarily with Cilli after the separation.

Cilli, through his attorney, is requesting joint legal and physical custody of their son, with his address designated for mailing and educational purposes. Additionally, he seeks court approval of a joint parenting plan. If the plan is not approved, Cilli proposes an alternative. He also asks the court to mandate the continuation of a health benefit plan for their child, including provisions for non-covered medical expenses. Child support is requested under Missouri law.

The petitioner also notes that neither party requires spousal maintenance, as both are capable of supporting themselves. Cilli asks that their marital assets and debts be divided according to the property settlement agreement. He insists both parties should cover their respective attorney’s fees, except if Crawford unnecessarily extends the litigation, in which case she would be liable for additional costs.
