After 36 years of marriage, the union between Cynthia A. Palazzolo and Robert A. Palazzolo has reached its breaking point. On October 4, 2024, Cynthia filed a petition for dissolution of marriage in St. Louis County Family Court. The couple, who wed in July 1988 in St. Louis, has been separated since July 8, 2024. According to Cynthia’s petition, their marriage is irretrievably broken, with no hope of reconciliation.
With no unemancipated children from the marriage and both parties well-established in St. Louis County for over half a century, the dissolution petition focuses on an equitable division of their accumulated marital property and debts. Cynthia also requests that separate property be awarded to the rightful party. Neither spouse is currently a member of the armed forces.
Represented by the law firm Carmody MacDonald P.C., with attorneys Joyce M. Capshaw, Jordan A. Poole, and Brittany A. Brown at her side, Cynthia is looking for a fair resolution as the couple moves to officially dissolve their nearly four-decade partnership. While Robert has yet to respond, the filing underscores that their marriage is beyond repair.
