Moly Sebastian, in a petition filed with the St. Charles County Circuit Court on October 27, 2025, seeks the dissolution of her marriage to Shaju Kudakkachira Thomas, citing irreconcilable differences. Married on November 22, 2004, the couple has spent nearly two decades together, but their relationship has now reached an irreversible impasse. Despite residing under the same roof, they have been separated since October 2024.

Moly, who is employed and a mother to three children, has requested sole legal and physical custody of their children, asserting that such an arrangement is in their best interests. The court is also asked to allocate the marital property and debts equitably, in line with Missouri’s dissolution guidelines. No child support is requested from Shaju, as Moly claims she is self-sufficient and capable of supporting her children independently. Both parties are self-supporting and have agreed that no maintenance is necessary from either side.

Her attorney, Christopher M. Boedefeld of Baerveldt & Boedefeld, LLC, has outlined in the petition that all marital property and debts should be divided justly, considering Missouri law. Furthermore, Moly has requested that each party retain their non-marital assets. As the marriage is deemed irretrievably broken, Moly seeks a swift resolution, with final relief granted to her as deemed appropriate by the Court.
